Thrive Board 23 24

Elizabeth Zickgraf has been with the University for almost 10 years and has been involved with Thrive! from its beginning seven years ago. She has served in a variety of leadership roles, including committee chair and Vice President. As the new President, she is excited to build upon the work of past presidents and help grow Thrive! even further. Elizabeth completed her BA in music theory and cello performance at the University of Notre Dame and her master’s degree in musicology at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. She also has an Executive MNA from Notre Dame. Elizabeth lives in South Bend with her two rambunctious boys, James (12) and Aidan (9).

Vice President Erin Thornton has worked at Notre Dame for ten years (as of this October!). Having benefited as a Thrive! member for a number of years, she is ready to give back and help the leadership team craft a new strategic plan and achieve key objectives during her term. Erin worked for Disney Cruise lines for almost nine years right after college-- she is a consummate planner! Erin met her husband while working for Disney and they have two children, Declan (6) and Beatrice (4).

A lover of numbers, Lindsey McIntyre is looking forward to the opportunity to use her experience working with budgets and finance to serve Thrive! as Treasurer. She is looking forward to meeting new people this year and engaging with women across the University. Lindsey is also an alumna of the eMNA program and met Elizabeth while taking courses together. Lindsey lives with her husband, who was also her high school sweetheart in Bourbon, IN. The two have been married for 21 years and love to ride their tandem bicycle around their neighborhood.

Kara Primmer is continuing as Thrive!’s Secretary this year. She previously served as the Chair of the Professional Development and Networking Committee and moved into this role last year as a way to continue serving in leadership. She loves to organize and has great attention to detail, so it is a great fit! Kara has been with Notre Dame since 2005, first as a graduate student and then as staff. She and her husband have two daughters, Abby (9) and Ally (6).
