Title: Office Coordinator, Campus Ministry
What is your Notre Dame career path? I started at ND as a temp helping with International Student Orientation for ISSA (Notre Dame International now). I then was hired full-time at Notre Dame International in 2012 working as an Administrative Assistant and then getting promoted over the years to Event and Program Coordinator. I moved to Campus Ministry in the fall of 2021 as an Administrative Assistant and recently got promoted to Office Coordinator, working with events, billing, reimbursements and supporting the Director of Campus Ministry and Associate Director of Communications.
What's an accomplishment you're most proud of? Professionally: in my over 10 years of working at Notre Dame I was part of planning and implementing some wonderful and fun events on campus for students with several having hundreds in attendance. Personally: as a single mother to two boys, we have had our struggles over the years but have persevered and come out stronger. My sons are now grown men and just amazing, hardworking, kind people and I am so proud of that!
What is your favorite book, podcast, or Ted Talk? What did you learn from it and/or how did it inspire you/why would you recommend it? You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero. This book made me laugh and learn a lot about how to be better personally and professionally.
