Join us for lunch on April 16 as we explore how to influence others and use the influence from others within mentoring relationships to strategically light the way on both our personal and professional paths. The mentoring committee will walk you through the various levels of mentor engagement, discuss opportunities for quick one-time connections and the benefits of these short-term relationships, as well as a more thorough walk-through of how mentoring can be accessed through the MentorND platform.
Each participant will have the opportunity to win a prize, network with others from around the University, and have the opportunity to walk away with a mentoring relationship. Some of the topics discussed will include: resume review; board/committee involvement; diversity, equity, and inclusion; career paths at ND; networking strategies; expand campus awareness; executive presence; how to move/find the next role; leadership topics; and best professional piece of advice.
