Elizabeth Zickgraf – President

Elizabeth Zickgraf has been with the University for over 10 years and has been involved with Thrive! from its beginning, eight years ago. She has served in a variety of leadership roles, including committee chair and Vice President. Now in her second year as President, she is excited to work with the new board to keep growing Thrive's impact at the University and in the community. Elizabeth completed her BA in music theory and cello performance at the University of Notre Dame and her master’s degree in musicology at Trinity College in Du

blin, Ireland. She also has an Executive MNA from Notre Dame. Elizabeth lives in South Bend with her two rambunctious boys, James (13) and Aidan (11).

Erin Thornton – Vice President

Erin began serving as advisor in 2022 and in this role provides advice and insight to the Vice President on all aspects of the division's strategic operations. Before 2022, Erin worked with the Notre Dame Alumni Association, which she joined in 2013 as the Special Events Program Director. Prior to the Alumni Association, Erin was with Disney Cruise Line as the Entertainment Manager for Youth Activities, a position she held from 2007 to 2013.

Erin holds a B.A. in Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University. She and her husband Mark – who is originally from England - live in South Bend with their two children, Declan and Beatrice.


Lori Tiney – Secretary

Lori Tinkey is a Senior Regional Director in University Relations Development at the University of Notre Dame. Following her career in nonprofit and corporate business leadership, Lori joined academia in Mendoza research, teaching, and writing in the field of Organizational Behavior (2012). In 2016, she was asked to create a world-class business behavioral laboratory and, separately, to serve as an internal Human Resources consultant. At the end of 2017, Lori was headhunted to Development to work with the Corporate and Foundation Relations fundraising teams. Lori served as the leader of the CRU Surveillance Testing Inventory Team during Covid and returned to the workplace in 2021 in a new role as a Director of Development Administration. She was promoted to Senior Director in 2022 and is now in Development Advancement Services. Lori holds a BS in Business from Indiana University Bloomington and an MNA from the University of Notre Dame. Professionally, Lori's passion is for the Notre Dame experience -- doing good for the people of Notre Dame and for the world. Lori has been a member of THRIVE! since 2012 in a number of roles, and would love to help you craft your perfect Notre Dame journey!

Linsey McIntyre – Treasurer

Lindsey McIntyre has served the University in various capacities for nearly 15 years, and her current role is Associate Director, IT Financial Strategy in the Office of Information Technology. She received a B.S. in Business from Indiana University Bloomington and a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Lindsey is very active in board service and leadership in both the Notre Dame community and her local community. In addition to her role as Thrive! Treasurer, she currently serves as a board member for the Bourbon Public Library and Treasurer for the Etna Green Church of Christ. She lives in Bourbon with her husband, Mason, and their two children, Anna and Sam.

Cynthia Reeves – Co-Chair, Engagement Committee

Cynthia Reeves is the Senior Scholar Immigration Specialist with the International Student & Scholar Affairs (ISSA) office, where she is responsible for managing immigration matters for the University's international J-1 scholars’ program and ensuring institutional compliance with immigration regulations.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Bethel College and her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Cynthia enjoys spending time with her family in her spare time, playing board games, going to the movies, and enjoying great food and conversation.

Leigh Handrigan – Co-Chair, Engagement Committee

Leigh Handrigan, Advisor to the VP for Finance joined Notre Dame in 2018 originally working as the advisor to Shannon Cullinan, and now for Trent Grocock. In her role she is assists Trent and the Finance Leadership Team in executing strategic initiatives for the division. She helps lead several division committees that focus on engagement, professional development, and community service. Leigh oversees the division’s website and communication across the division from the finance leadership team. She works closely with the Office of Treasury Services analyzing the monthly financial statements for the university’s real estate as well as assists with the daily cash management process.

Prior to working for Notre Dame, Leigh worked in the financial service and insurance industries in the areas of commercial and residential mortgage lending, credit analysis, retail banking, and property and casualty insurance. Previous employers include Cabrillo Coastal General Insurance, US Bank, and Bank of America.

Leigh received her Bachelor’s Degree in Management and International Business from Appalachian State University, and her MBA from Nova Southeastern University.

Emily Stoler – Chair, Professional Development Committee

Emily started off her education at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan by studying biochemistry and biomedical sciences. She then furthered her studies in analytical chemistry and earned an M.S. degree from the University of Notre Dame. She then went into the environmental protection industry by working with landfills and wastewater treatment plants before earning her Master of Business Administration from the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics in 2021. Emily uses her background in both chemistry and business to help the IDEA Center at the University of Notre Dame commercialize faculty research as the Risk Assessment Assistant Director. Emily has been on the Thrive Professional Development Committee for the past two years and is really excited to be the Chair for the 2024/2025 fiscal year. In her spare time, Emily enjoys playing with her dog, Watson, and working in her gardens.

Anne Horcher – Chair, Communications Committee

Anne is a double Domer with two degrees in English from Notre Dame. After graduating with her Master's degree, Anne began working in the Office of Mission Engagement and Church Affairs, where she does communications work and supervises post-graduate volunteers working at Catholic parishes in Ireland through the House of Brigid program. In addition, she is in her third year of teaching the Moreau First Year Experience course, and she loves getting to know first year students as they settle in on campus. (She is convinced that teaching Moreau gives her the best stories to tell in the office.) During her time as a graduate student, Anne was an Assistant Rector in Badin Hall, which she believes has the best dorm chapel on campus. In her spare time, Anne reads, bakes, and knits, and she is currently working to add as many native plants as possible to her front yard.
