Micki Kidder

Some choices define us, create memories, and chart our future trajectory. Join Micki Kidder (Vice President for University Enterprises and Events and mother of three) as she facilitates a conversation on how to outline a roadmap to maximize your happiness, joy, and satisfaction. While the past few months have pushed us to redefine how we balance our roles (mothers, wives, sisters, colleagues, friends, etc.), Micki looks forward to discussing how we can use this time to find a sense of calmness in the journey, and rediscover our personal and professional paths.

Micki was appointed Vice President for University Enterprises and Events in March 2019. In this role, she oversees the planning and execution of a wide range of University events (from commencement to concerts), and provides strategic leadership for gameday hospitality, the Morris Inn, McKenna Hall, the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore, St. Michael’s Laundry, licensing, clubs and concessions, and campus dining. She most recently served as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Development, where she oversaw individual leadership fundraising for the University, including regional fundraising and athletics advancement. Moreover, she led the operating and administrative functions of the University Relations division, including Special Events, Development Information Services, Donor Services, Finance, Human Resources, Stewardship, Prospect Management, and Development Research.

Micki graduated from Indiana University in 2000 with degrees in accounting and finance. She subsequently earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. She also holds a certificate of education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a Certified Public Accountant, and prior to joining the University, she led cross-functional teams in Assurance & Business Advisory Services for PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Micki is a member of the board of the Stanley Clark School and is active in the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County. She and her husband, Scott, are the grateful parents of 3 children.

There will be a follow-up session on May 29th at 12 p.m. You're warmly invited to join in a conversation with the women of Notre Dame as we navigate these challenging times. The Thrive! Professional Development and Networking committee is here for you to follow up on next steps.
